Melissa A. Kelley-Hilton
PI, CFE, CII, IMCM, President
Melissa joined Sterling Diligence (then Bishops Services) in 2009, bringing with her over a decade of experience in corporate due diligence and background investigations. She oversees the global operations of Sterling Diligence. Prior to Bishops, Melissa was a Managing Director at an investigation and risk mitigation consulting firm in New York City where she was responsible for conducting and managing due diligence investigations and intelligence gathering projects around the globe. Melissa has led tens of thousands of investigations across multiple business sectors on behalf of clients, which have included governments, investment banking and private equity firms, real estate investment trusts, commercial lending institutions and multinational law firms and corporations.
Melissa has received numerous honors for being a leader and visionary in her company, industry and community. Melissa holds a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Gulf Coast University. She is also a Licensed Private Investigator by the New York Department of State, a Certified International Investigator (CII) and Board Member of the Council of International Investigators, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and is also a Member of the Investment Migration Council, the worldwide association for investor immigration and citizenship-by-investment.
Vice President of Investigations
Allison joined Sterling Diligence (then Bishops Services) in 2009, and currently serves as a Vice President of Investigations, managing client engagements in the financial services industry. She provides domestic and international investigative due diligence services to financial institutions, fund of funds, private equity firms and institutional investors. Allison began her career as an Investigative Analyst, conducting background due diligence investigations at a risk mitigation consulting firm in New York City. Allison has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Syracuse University.
Vice President of Investigations
Pam has been a Vice President of Investigations with Sterling Diligence (then Bishops Services) since 2012, managing investigative due diligence services to pension funds, endowments, venture capital firms and real estate investment trusts (REITs). She brings with her over 20 years of experience conducting fraud investigations, background due diligence and investigative research. Prior to joining the company, Pam was Chief Investigative Analyst and head of the Investigations Group for eight years at FIA, a boutique investigations and security firm in New York. Before this, she honed her investigative skills as a Manager at Deloitte for seven years, where she worked in the Litigation Support and Business Intelligence Service Groups. She was previously a Senior Fraud Investigator at Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. Pam holds a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Purchase and a Master’s degree from IONA/College of New Rochelle. She is also a Licensed Private Investigator by the New York Department of State.
